Service Description

Offered through the Canada Safety Council, the program focuses on small group discussions, problem solving, role-playing, and instructor-led demonstrations. The course material covers such topics as: - Establishing a routine - House Key is your responsibility - Strangers - Telephone - Emergencies - Basic First Aid - Internet Safety Each participant will receive a Student Reference Book which is designed to allow the program participants to actively participate in class assignments. It provides a review of the program material, as well as additional information that will be of value to the students. Participants will receive a Certificate of Completion from the Canada Safety Council.

Cancellation Policy

Your spot in a class/workshop is reserved just for you. A late cancellation or missed class/workshop leaves a hole in the class/workshop that could have been filled by another person. As such, a class/workshop cancelled with more than 2 weeks notice may receive a full refund. If a class/workshop is cancelled with more than 1 week notice, a credit to be used towards another class/workshop will be provided. Those who provide less than 1 week notice, or miss their class/workshop, will be charged a cancellation fee. The cancellation fee is equivalent to the full amount of the class/workshop fee.
